The primary mine tunnel system of Rasha. Most of the Dwarves live here. The place has an abundance of land and is rich of minerals, but is slowly dying down like the rest of the land of Rasha. It is peculiar enough that it lasted this long.

Rielis stood at the enterance to the mine tunnels, the sun was setting behind him, and he had a freshly lit torch in hand as he stood at the maw of the cavern. This could take awhile. Wordlessly he started into the tunnel before him, not sure what to expect...but wishing he would stumble upon a more cooperative group of dwarves...

Rielis could feel a faint glow all through the mine. It was focused further in, a brownish gold glow of sorts. Just as quickly as he had however, four dwarves stood before him fully armored. And unlike the ones from before, they came at him with their hammers ready to strike immediately. - The Dark Knight in Rasha -

Rielis stood silent as the drawves fell to his attack. He looked at the fallen warriors and shook his head. Such a waste...
Instead of dewelling on that, he reclimed his torch, and began continuing down the tunnel. The repeating echo of step after step as he plunged deeper the only sound filling his ears for now. He wondered if the scuffle alerted others...or if he would be able to continue peacefully for awhile.

As Rielis continued moving through the mines, he would notice that he did indeed alert another dwarf. The dwarf held a long staff with the symbol of Earth mounted on the top, standing in the way of Rielis. But rather than attack, the dwarf instead started on his way through the mines.

Rielis came across the other dwarf, not sure what to expect from his presense. But while he continued getting closer, the dwarf left to go his own way through the mines. Wasn't that the same symbol as the glyph on his staff...? ran through his mind. He decided it would be in his best interest to follow the dwarf, perhaps stop and question him, to see if maybr he could be more useful then the previous misfits. For now though, he remained following in silence, trying to decide what to do or say next.

Following after the dwarf, Rielis found himself coming up to the heart of all the tunnels. And at the heart certainly did lie the Glyph of Earth that he had been sent to find, shining... not so brilliantly at the time. Its gleam was beginning to fade more and more, something that would possibly disappoint his master. It was here that the dwarf turned to face the Dark Knight now.
"There is little doubt that this is what you are after. But I cannot allow you to have it so easily."

Rielis continued following, until finally the dwarf led him to exactly what he was looking for. His eyes fell upon the glyph, noting its dulled appearance. Surely that wasnt normal, but what was wrong with it? He frowned while looking at the glyph as the dwarf spoke up, but he waited a moment before replying finally, asking what was on his mind.
Why is it dulled like that?

"The Glyphs are steadily losing their power because of the Guardians themselves. In a battle before, the Elder Guardians of the Glyphs save for a few were cursed and are gradually growing weaker. The Guardians were then linked to the Glyphs, and with the overwhelming Darkness that keeps encroaching everything, it is only a matter of time before all of the Glyphs become like this."
The dwarf responded to Rielis' questioning. Furthermore, the only Glyph that still held light was the one of Darkness itself. Fire's light had already dwindled away at the Castle of the Mist that the Sorcerer used as his abode. It was easy to say that the rest of them would follow suit surely enough.

Rielis listened to the dwarf speak. He did not really know much on the glyphs or their history him self, as it was not very meed to know, even with his position. He was a agent to achieve things, or obtain, knowing more then what his mission was, was irrelivent to success in the past. Hearing this was an interesting bit of knowledge he would keep in mind for sure.
I see. I take it you are not one of these Elite Guardians then?" He asked farther. Regardless of the fact these guardians are weakened or not, he was not sure he would want to deal with them if they are tied to the glyphs, and could possibly draw on their power...assuming they could that is.

The dwarf nodded to his words. While normally fighting would be the only way for Rielis to obtain the Glyph from the Guardian, it more or less pointed out that he would have to deal with this one way or another if he desired the Glyph of Earth. So it was mainly between leaving the Glyph and going back empty-handed or engaging the one who stood between him and the object in question. Obviously the dwarf wouldn't be moved on the matter, so talking his way out of it wasn't an option either.

Rielis stared at the dwarf, as if he was trying to figure out the answer to a problem. He really didn't feel like killing the one that led him here, but he doubted he would allow him to walk out with the glyph freely.
"You could save your self trouble, and leave me now. I would almost feel bad having to kill you after you have been this cooperative." he said, bringing his axe to the fore, resting the bladed head on the stoney floor. The dwarf likely wouldn't back down, but it was worth a shot.

"A Dark Knight with empathy..."
The dwarf had seemed like he was about to prepare for battle regardless of his words. But instead he stood down in the end, almost as though he felt something or that the words of the Dark Knight himself had their desired effect. With a sigh of regret did the Guardian stand aside, leaving way for Rielis to claim what he had come for.
"The Glyph is yours for the taking. But in due time will you have to make a decision, Knight."
At his words could a roar be heard in the distance. One that was foreign and not heard in a long time. The roar of a dragon...

Rielis was surprised to say the least, he figured that the Dwarf would fight him regardless, but he finally stood down moving to allow him to pass. The words spoken confirmed the action, but the last part about a decision stuck with him. What did he mean by that?
He stopped thinking on the matter when a loud roar echoed through the tunnels, and reached his ears. It was familiar, and not at the same time...but surely it struck a note of fear with-in...the roar of a dragon...
Shit...
Rielis nodded to the dwarf as he moved forward to claim the Glyph, gingerly picking it up and carrying it with him as he turned to leave the chamber. He still held the axe across his shoulder with one hand, half expecting the Dwarf to try to stop him still. He began to walk away at a brisk pace, not wanting to stay any longer then needed if there was indeed a dragon here.

Being allowed to walk away now, the guardian Dwarf watched him for a time before closing his eyes. So this was how it was going to be now? He could only hope that things turned out well for them. Right now what they needed was...
Rielis had managed to get out of the mines. But the roar resounded once more, more loudly and possibly closer than before. It was hard to tell all the same. It would likely be best for him to return now, even if the Glyph he carried had grown dim.
