The town to the north of Edge. This town is comprised of mages of several types and ways. As Edge is the place for weapons, Alreva is for magic. They are able to practice their arts without injury thanks to a female healer of immense skill who lives in the humble town.

'Miya walked about the city, a rare thing for her to do at night. But she did it on the occasion, to reminisce about some things. She supposed it was about that time, as she was spending her time in Alreva rather than Edge for the moment. After some time, she would switch up again. There wouldn't be anything to do this late she supposed, other than to roam about or to get in a bit of practice. After one or the other or both, she would head back and get some rest until the morning came.'

*To cleanse one's self of the dark pain that they felt... it was something he sought a solution to for some time now. And yet he never found a way to accomplish that for himself. And so here he was, walking into Alreva and making his way through the place easily enough. Silver eyes gleamed in the darkness, his cloak merely flowing with the almost dead wind. This was the place where the Glyph of Water was located at? Or what rumors suggested anyway.*

Upon Vincent's arrival, a dark portal opened much like it had at Edge in the center of the town. Except something far worse stepped out of it compared to before. An armored figure could easily be seen walking briskly through it, making no real effort to hide herself. Red hair poured out from the back of her helmet as equally red eyes flicked back and forth, hidden by the helmet-like mask and scanning the area, looking for something. Her gauntlet covered right hand curled around the hilt of her giant blade, ready to tear down the entire town if she had to. The few people who were still outside at this hour froze in fear, one of the Dark Knights having descended upon them.

'Walking through the town of magic at night apparently came with something else. When the portal of darkness formed she was positive she knew exactly what it meant. It was easy to tell the Dark Knights apart for various reasons, but she knew that this was the one who was considered the first among their numbers. And things usually got particularly messy when she was around. Verily so at that. It put her on edge, wondering just was about to happen now that one had shown up here and if she could stop it. If not she could at least try to.'

*Looked like Kelon's dog from Edge let the sorcerer find out about some things. While the mayor probably died with his maids and manor and the figure too at his own hands, it sent out the message for the information it had obtained. This Dark Knight was the response for it. He walked down an alley first, staying out of sight before he jumped up the wall of a building, landing on the roof of it and looking down from above to watch in earnest. The Dark Knight had means by which to get to her goal much quicker than he would... time to see her in action then.*

The Dark Knight wasted no time at all, raising her giant blade and bringing it down as a wave of darkness shot off in all directions. It engulfed people and began to topple buildings, including the one that Vincent was on top of it. Miya was struck by the wave too, but it hadn't engulfed her like everyone it had more than likely killed already. If this had been day instead of night, even more would have perished. But that probably didn't stop their blood-curdling screams from being just as effective for letting people know that she was here. A woman appeared in front of the darker one, holding a staff with the image of a wave of water on its head. She glared at the Dark Knight, the Dark Knight not returning any of the gesture as several of the buildings froze over before they could collapse and make things worse.
"This ends now, dark one! Leave this place!"
"My master has requested the Glyph. Even if I must bury this entire city, the Glyph of Water will be mine this night."
Of course she was after the Glyph... she knew she couldn't trust her with it. Not that it would do the sorcerer any good right now. She began to cast another spell, the ground began to shake and the paralyzed buildings completely collapsed, aimed at the Knight now instead. The woman gasped and used this chance to flee, the Dark Knight moving past the crumbling buildings, intent on keeping her eye on the woman. They eventualy reached a lone uilding on the outskrts of Alreva. Tightening the grip on her sword, she went inside, already eager to see this done already.

'She didn't have any real time to prepare for the wave, being caught by it and being sent flying. She crashed into the wall of one of the buildings, gasping for air and in pain before the building started to collapse. Luckily for her at least, the buildings froze before they fell on her and gave her enough time to move out of the way, doing so a bit slowly as she gathered her bearings once more. It looked like things were intensifying, the healer that usually helped around Alreva showing up before her and the Dark Knight went after one another.'
"The Glyph..."
'The Glyph of Water was said to be held in Midgard. And if legends were true then it couldn't be allowed into the hands of someone like the Dark Knights who served the man who made everything a mess to begin with. And so she gave chase, coming to the house soon enough as she drew her sword and took one deep breath. She would do the best she could against the Dark Knight.'

*As the building started to collapse, Vincent readied himself and held his ground against the toppling building. But that wouldn't matter for very long, jumping off of it and managing to land on the frozen buildings now. But he kept moving, running along them before he jumped off, landing on top of another building with a roll before he stopped to watch the two engage one another. But he happened to notice the other woman following them in this mess, shaking his head. It was no business of his as always, but going it without someone who could willingly be a shield or maybe even useful for more than that would just make things a mess. And so Vincent jumped down, landing on the ground near Miya before walking forward to the house that they were now about to engage in.*
"You won't be of much good against her by yourself. Messy as this may be, I'll help you out too."

The Dark Knight blasted the door of the lone house apart with ease, stepping inside and looking around immediately after. She saw no one right away, but she could hear just fine a creak below herself. And with that she struck the ground with her hand, blasting a hole clean through the floor and tearing it apart as she slowly floated down, landing on her feet and looking at the woman as she attempted to hide something behind her.
"So the Glyph rests here after all. Good. Now where has its glow gone? If you yourself are hiding it, your death will be a painful one."
She gripped her sword tighter than before, dark mist flowing from it. The woman didn't stand down however, merely raising her staff and pointing it at the Dark Knight in more defiance.
"You servant of Hell...you shall not pass to this Glyph!"
The Dark Knight simply looked at the woman and noted to make her demise more painful yet. But at last beneath the helmet did her eyes widen. She felt no magic flowing from her to the Glyph. Water was as Fire...the glow was gone now. She was more concerned with how her master would take the news than anything else, angered by this sign now.
"Damn you...What has happened to the Glyph?!"
She brought her sword down as a wave of darkness was emitted. The woman held out her staff and a barrier formed before her to meet the attack. The barrier hardly did anything against the Dark Knight's power as it shattered and the woman flew against the wall. She walked up and threw the woman to the side right after as she struck the wall next as it fell apart, grabbing the Glyph within and tearing it free.
"...It may be faded, but Master Kelon told me to deliver the Glyph. He will have it yet."
The woman slowly stood up and faced the Dark Knight. Blood was running down her face now, but she was still defiant against the dark warrior of superior ability. And in her defiance did she attempt another spell against Karian, though Karian seemed to barely note it.
"Burn...in...HELL!"
She sent out waves of fire as they formed a tornado around the Dark Knight. She laughed and walked through the tower of flames and looked at the woman, smiling rather wickedly.
"You enjoy condemning yourself? I didn't think you truly wished to be the second of the four guardians to be sent to the Abyss. Your actions speak quite well your desire."
The woman could only stare at the Dark Knight. She knew the Guardian of Flame had died. That was the only explanation as to why Kelon could take residence in the Mist Castle. She didn't realize he was murdered by the Knights however...

'She was surprised to see someone else willing to go with her. Odds were it was risky for both of them, but then the risks didn't matter right now so much as heading inside and doing whatever they possibly could.'
"Then let's go give our all."
'The Dark Knight wasn't wasting time, having gone inside of the building already as she followed behind her. It looked like the Glyph of Water had lost its shine, something she didn't know about. But she could only assume it was bad if all of the stories and tales about the objects were true. From the sounds of it, the guardian of Fire's Glyph had also been extinguished by the Dark Knights. There was no time to worry about that though, drawing her sword. If nothing else, she could possibly stave off the attack of the Dark Knight with her skills even if only for a time.'

*Vincent nodded, heading inside of the building as well. Sighing briefly, he jumped down through the opening in the building, enough time to spare to hear parts of the conversation. His thoughts were right however, as his body visibly pulsed, afterimages of himself being shown as it did so. A snarl coming from the young man.*
"So.... I was correct. The Glyph itself is the cause to this aching feeling I'm having lately. I could care less for their mission, but I'm going to destroy that now."
*Vincent extended his gauntlet arm forward, a wave of darkness surging forth at the Knight. He wasn't expecting too much damage to be caused from the wave with two facts in mind. The wave was mostly aimed at the Glyph and they weren't called Dark Knights for without reason, were they? Both wielded darkness, but it wasn't a simple matter for how they would decide who got over the other. He didn't take his eyes off of the Knight, though his words made it clear he wasn't addressing the Dark Knight right now.*
"Thanks for freezing those buildings earlier, but I suggest you don't push yourself much harder."

"...More fools attempting to stand in my way?"
Looked like she had some more people who didn't desire to live much longer. Turning to face the two, she noted the wave of darkness as she raised her hand, a powerful barrier forming up to ward off the attack. But the attack wasn't aimed at her so much as what she was carrying, the Glyph withstanding the attack. Of course this prompted a counterattack from herself, waving her sword and sending out the same wave again at the duo, but with much more force than the last one from before. Probably because of his attempt at destroying what she was to give to her master. But the woman managed to form a barrier around them which as before, shattered helplessly before the attack before it engulfed the pair and sent them through another wall in the building. She wasted no more time after this, turning and stabbing the woman in the chest before she opened a portal of darkness, walking through it after to return to her master.

*It was ineffective even against the Glyph? Well to be fair, if they were easily destroyed then the world probably wouldn't exist right now. Either way it was clear that the woman had grown irritated at his attempt to sabotage her and now was on the offensive. While the woman bearing the staff formed another barrier, he already knew that it was probably going to be useless and if nothing else had been planning to defend even before the guardian sought to defend them. He raised his own hand, a barrier forming over himself, but not enough time to make one for Miya as well as both barriers met the attack, the guardian's shattering first before he went through the wall, his own fading after that. He started to pick himself up, noticing the guardian having been run through and the Dark Knight gone.*
"Blast! Guh!?"
*He was a bit bruised from all of that though, anger taking place before pain. But the pain was a bit more than he would be expecting... but he knew why. He could hear the voice again, speaking to him as it normally would when he had messed up something.*
"Why do you hold back your own power along with mine? Is it fear, perhaps? Or is it because of what you know is true?"
*Denying it was pointless since the words were true, but what was he implying just then? He looked to his hand before shaking it off, not bothering to check on the woman. He didn't doubt she was dying now from that sort of wound and he certainly wasn't a healer. He was the opposite of that, thinking on what to do next. If that was his only lead, then...*

'While the barrier had been raised, Miya brought her sword to meet it before she too was sent off through the wall, the attack having been too powerful. She hadn't recovered as quickly as Vincent had, but she got up all the same with a groan.'
"Ow..."
'Miya managed to pick herself up after that. It looked like even though they had tried to come and help, the Dark Knight desired none of that before she left to return to her master. But unlike Vincent when she noticed the woman had been stabbed, she rushed over to her side. She wasn't particularly good at first aid and with this kind of injury she wasn't certain what she could do either.'
"...I'm sorry. If we had just made it here sooner or had just been stronger, then..."

The woman was alive, if only barely and briefly. She coughed up some blood, touching Miya's left arm. On the back of Miya's hand and on the back of her glove was a symbol of water, the staff that the guardian held disappearing from sight as the area began to quake. A roar could be heard in the distance. One that was foreign and not heard in a long time. The roar of a dragon...

'Miya blinked, gazing upon her own hand then. This was certainly new. But the woman had passed on now. Lingering on that fact wasn't quite allowed though as the place started to tremble, a roar being heard in the distance. And while it was unfamiliar, she was pretty sure that it belonged to something that they both knew about.'
"A dragon? I thought they all had vanished though. Though sticking around to find out why it roared probably wouldn't be the wisest thing to do now."
